They are on sale here!
Not as comfortable as their professional clogs, but cuter.
Dansko is making a bunch of great options besides their clogs.
Room for toes and a Wedge bottom for some arch support. A fantastic summer sandal!
Hi Everyone,
It has been a long time since I posted and I intend to start regularly posting a curated selection of great shoes which are comfortable to wear for longer than a half-hour.
Check out this great boot by Antelope. It has a nice wedge bottom to decrease pressure under the ball of the foot.
Happy Fall!
I never thought I would post about a Birkenstock. They are comfortable and offer an arch support for sure, but I always receive negative comments from patients wanting a more stylish shoe. In the last few months, it turns out these sandals have been quite popular and even a patient noted that “everyone” was wearing them in Europe.
These sandals are also available in a leather version that costs more.
This post is for you if you go barefoot at home despite achy, painful feet. This post is for you if you wear orthotics but can’t seem to get them into your slippers. These lovelies have an amazing arch support built right in. Please try these!
Really? Really. This rain boot has everything good built into it. Plus the color is the best!
Yes, a 4 1/2 inch heel! The platform adds an inch, so really it’s a 3 1/2 inch heel rise. The wooden heel and shank prevents flexion and makes the shoe work instead of the foot, preventing fatigue. Pick this one up here.
Coclico Parted Blinds Heel
Okay, I must admit that I haven’t personally tried this shoe. It is BEAUTIFUL! I almost want to lick it! Don’t be frightened by the 4 inches! The platform adds a full one inch. Yes, this is a tad high, but the rocker forefoot will make up for most of the height. Not ideal for lots of walking, but very delicious for some short trips when you want to make a big statement!
